This position is for Thirty-Five (35) temporary full-time Heavy Equipment Operators (SOC 47-2073, Operating Engineers and Other Construction Equipment Operators) for Citi Development & Construction, Inc. dba Citi Development & Construction, Inc. The following terms and conditions with this job offer are fully explained below:
(1) Wage rate: Work will be performed on a DOD funded project, Project AFCA P V Tinian Island, Task Order 024, as part of the Military Buildup in the Pacific; Prime Contract Number FA8051-24-F-0024. SCA wage rates apply at the rate of $18.33/hr. In addition to SCA hourly rates, the worker will receive an additional $4.93/hr. for Health & Welfare.
(2) Overtime Available? Yes, overtime rate is calculated at 1.5x per hour ($27.50/hr.)
(3) Deductions from payroll: Employer will make all deductions from the workers’ paycheck required by law (Federal Income Tax, State Income Tax, Social Security (FICA) & Medicare Tax).
(4) Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due; Workers will be paid bi-weekly.
(5) Employer will provide at NO fee or charge to the workers, the following:
· Housing;
· 3 meals per day for the duration of employment; and
· Transportation to and from the worksite.
(6) Employer will provide, at no expense to workers, a one-way economy class air transportation from workers’ point of hire to Tinian. Workers will be provided or fully reimbursed (100%) for transportation and subsistence from the place which the workers have come to work for the Employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, if the workers complete 50 percent of the period of employment covered by the job order.
(7) Employer will provide or pay for the workers’ cost of return transportation and subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the workers—disregarding intervening employment—departed to work for the Employer, if the workers complete the certified period of employment or is dismissed from employment for any reason by the Employer before the end of the period of employment.
Note: Daily subsistence will be at least $15.88/per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00/per day with receipts/documentation of actual expenses.
(8) Employer will reimburse workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the workers (passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of workers, are not included).
(9) Three-Fourths Guarantee: Employer guarantees to offer the workers employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the workers at the place of employment or the advertised first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the job order or in its extensions, if any.
(10) Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
(11) On-the-Job Training: Not Available.
